DIMETHLYGLYCINE (DMG) – AMINO ACID

Dimethylglycine and is related to Glycine.  It is an important building block for certain hormones and neurotransmitters, as well as DNA.

There does not appear to be any recognizable deficiency symptoms from a reduced level of DMG in the diet.  DMG is known to enhance the immune system and reduces blood cholesterol levels.  DMG improves oxygen utilization, lowers blood pressure, improves organ functioning, and may be helpful to control the epileptic seizures.
